Tree Removal
When considering the removal of a tree, Adair Tree Care should be your first choice when selecting a contractor. Whether or not a tree should be taken out is a tough decision and is often viewed as a last resort. Our Certified Arborists can help to inform you of all the circumstances before making this decision.

Tree removal can be extremely dangerous. We use approved climbing equipment to access the tree and have the knowledge and equipment necessary to safely remove trees of any size. Using the latest techniques to safely remove your tree piece by piece or ensuring the tree can be safely felled, we take precautions that are necessary to guard against property damage and injury. Large trees are rigged and lowered with ropes where required, preventing any chance of damage to homes or other valuables

Stump Grinding
After a tree is removed a stump will remain at ground level. Our turf-friendly machine will grind your stump 6-12 inches below grade. This will allow for re-planting or sodding over the spot where the old tree was. Removing the stump is also very effective in reducing the amount of suckering after the tree is removed because the main storage spot for energy in the tree is located in and around the stump.

Our ReLeaf deep root tree fertilization program usually consists of 2 applications per year, one in the spring and one in the fall. We use a custom fertilizer blend designed specifically for the Calgary area that helps battle against the high PH found in Calgary’s soils to ensure trees are able to take up and absorb the nutrients they need. The water based solution is injected below the soil surface to the tree’s roots in a form that reduces the chance of root burn and encourages uniform uptake to the tree. Some candidates for fertilization include:

Establishing young trees
Trees with poor colour due to a nutrient deficiency
Trees in poor soil conditions
